Send a single letter online

In the dashboard, PDF files up to 20 MB with at most 94 pages single-sided or 188 pages double-sided. The system automatically fits pages that are not A4 to A4; the first page must be portrait. Save Word documents as PDF first; without a document you write the letter in the template editor.

A standard letter (black and white, single-sided, up to 3 pages) costs 91 coins. Coins get cheaper the more you top up: from €1.80 per 100 coins (smallest top-up) to €1.00 per 100 coins from 25,000 coins. That is €0.91 to €1.64 per standard letter. Colour, duplex and registered mail use more coins.

Yes. Our system reads the recipient address automatically from the address window of your PDF. If your letter has a standard address window, the address is detected by OCR and pre-filled. You can check the detected address before sending and correct it if needed.

In test mode you go through the whole sending process – from PDF upload and address entry to the preview – without a letter actually being printed or sent. There are no costs, so you can try the system without risk.

Yes. You can create as many sender profiles as you like – each with its own name, address and optionally its own cover page as a PDF that goes in front of every letter with this profile. When sending, you pick the profile you want.

Three: the Einschreiben (handover against a signature), the Einschreiben Einwurf (documented delivery into the letterbox) and the Einschreiben with Rückschein (the signed acknowledgement of receipt comes by post to the address of your sender profile). Registered mail is only available within Germany and only printed single-sided.

Cancelling is possible as long as the letter has not yet been handed over to Deutsche Post. Your dashboard shows the current status – while it is "In Verarbeitung" (processing), you can still cancel.
